Player Bio

Bryce Morais has anchored the Grayson Rams defense playing at defensive end and outside linebacker. He has harassed opposing quarterbacks all season long with his 6-foot-5 245 pound frame. His success on the football field has piqued the interest of programs such as Georgia, North Carolina, Mississippi State, Duke and Louisville among others. With such a college ready body, Morais should make an impact at the next level. The three D’s are what make Morais stand out as a player: drive, dedication, and determination. When asked how he has gotten to this level, Bryce said, “I’ve gotten to this level by understanding what’s needed to be the best and working hard to reach my full potential. God, my family and coaches have provided the most help along the way.” He understands to succeed at the next level he must continue to put time in the weight room and improve upon his experience on the field. Morais has lettered in basketball and works hard in the classroom. His favorite subject in school is history. When he is not playing sports or doing school work, Morais enjoys watching movies with his family. Superman is his favorite superhero, which is fitting due to his Superman-like skills on the field.

The Rams defense has allowed a Region 8-AAAAAA best, eight points per game and has recorded three shutouts in their 9-1 regular season. Morias has racked up numerous sacks, forced fumbles and quarterback pressures as one of the team’s main pass rushers. Only a junior, Morais’ interest from schools should explode next season after this year’s successful campaign. He will most likely be adding some accolades to his name after this season’s play.
