Player Bio

Do you remember your first varsity start and how was it?
“My first start was last year versus Martin Luther King. It went well and I got an interception.”

Have you played DB/S your entire life and what made you want to play DB/S?
“I used to play wide receiver until my middle school coach told me to switch to safety.”

What is your best asset as a DB/S? How important is communication in the secondary and how do you make sure everyone is on the same page?
“I am great at getting interceptions and taking them for touchdowns. Communication is very important because if everybody is not on the same page then the team won’t perform well. You have to communicate on the field in order to know what you have to do.”

Who is the most influential person in your life?
“Natrez Patrick. He used to go to school with me last year. He showed me the ins and outs of football on the defensive side.”

Do you do any work in the community?
“I am in an organization at my church that does different things in the community.”

What colleges have shown interest in you/offered you?
“I have no offers yet, but I have talked with Purdue, Florida State, Old Dominion, and a few others.”

What do you want to study in school?
“I want to do forensic science. When I was young, I was watching a TV on forensic science. I liked when they would open up the bodies. When we dissect things in class, I enjoy it.”

What has been your best football memory?
“Last year I had 50-yard interception that was almost taken for a touchdown against Lovejoy.”

Play any sports besides football?
“I play basketball and I run track.”

What is a fact about you many people that don’t know you, wouldn’t be able to guess?
“I like to dance to hip-hop music.”
