Player Bio

Do you remember your first varsity start and how was it?
“My first varsity start was my sophomore year against St. Pius, our rival school. We ended up winning 42-20 so my first start was great!”

Have you played OL your entire life and what made you want to play OL?
“I have always played OL, when I was little I was too heavy to play any other position.”

What is your best asset as an OL?
“My best asset as an offensive lineman is probably run blocking. Technique is more important to strength in my opinion, because you can have all the strength in the world, but still not be good because you do not have the technique.”

Who is the most influential person in your life?
“The most influential person in my life is my dad. He pushes me every day to be better in the classroom, on the field, and when I am out in the community.”

How many brothers and sisters, what ages and do they play sports?
“I have one brother who is 20 and he played high school football at Roswell High School and I also have a 12 year old sister who does competition cheerleading.”

Parents name and did they play sports in college?
“My dad is Jeff Bolton, and my mom is Lisa Bolton. My dad played college football at Virginia Tech.”

Do you do any work in the community?
“Yes, my school requires service hours every semester, so I am actively involved in helping out at the church, as well as at charities.”

What colleges have shown interest in you/offered you?
“I have spoken to many colleges such as, Georgia, Alabama, Duke, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, NC State, and Tennessee.”

What do you want to study in school?
“I want to study Business in college.”

What has been your best football memory?
“My best memory in football so far, was making it to the state semi-finals last year.”

Gain any accolades?
“I was second team all-region last year.”

Play any sports besides football?
“I used to play basketball competitively but I stopped after freshman year.”

Outside of playing sports, what would you want to do for a living?
“I would like to find a job in business, and maybe even be an entrepreneur.”

What is a fact about you many people that don’t know you, wouldn’t be able to guess?
“I love to be outdoors, and also love to hunt and fish.”
