Do you remember your first varsity start and how was it?

“My first varsity start was my 10th grade year. I was nervous until I made my first tackle.”

Have you played DB/S your entire life and what made you want to play DB/S?

“My ninth grade year I played CB, and the next year I moved to Sam linebacker.”

What is your best asset as a DB/S? How important is communication in the secondary and how do you make sure everyone is on the same page?

“My best asset would be my physical ability. Communication in the secondary is very important. Everyone has to be on the same page. I make sure that all of my DBs know their duty.”

Who is the most influential person in your life?

“The most influential person goes to my daddy. He’s a good influence on my life.”

How many brothers and sisters, what ages and do they play sports?

“I have one sister and she played basketball.”

Parents name and did they play sports in college?

“My parents’ names are Melissa & Michael Chapman. My dad played college football at West Georgia.”

Do you do any work in the community?

“I help open doors for the primary school kids in the morning.”

What colleges have shown interest in you/offered you?

“I have been receiving letters from Purdue.”

What has been your best football memory?

“My best memory in football is when I knocked a player into the bushes.”

Did you attend any camps this offseason?

“I attended Step It Up Camp this past summer.”

What is a fact about you many people that don’t know you, wouldn’t be able to guess?

“I have been diabetic since sixth grade, but a lot of people don’t know that.”
