Player Bio

Robbie Bell is a standout offensive tackle for the Mill Creek Hawks. The 6-foot-5 Bell helped Mill Creek become co-region champs this season with a 7-3 regular season record. His work ethic in the weight room and his ability to improve is what has made him stand out and draw interest from schools like Duke, Georgia Tech, Mercer and Furman.

Robbie grew up surrounded by football. His dad played at Parkview and helped teach Robbie how to play. He found his passion on the offensive line and said that it’s not only the physical nature of playing in the trenches that attracts him to being a lineman, but it’s the technical nuisances and the ability to beat people who may be bigger or quicker.

He got a chance to improve his skills and learn from the best this past summer as he attended offensive line camps at Duke, Virginia and North Carolina State. Overall, he learned the importance of having a solid technique and focused on the finer points of offensive line play. Robbie says that he is willing to play wherever he is needed to at the next level. Right now he feels that he could play guard, but eventually hopes to play tackle once he gains more weight.

Robbie does not only excel on the field, but he does so off the field as well in the classroom and the community. He has helped coach his eight year-old brother’s football team since he was six, and is planning on continuing to do so. Something that Robbie is extremely proud of is being active in the 12Stone Church. He has done numerous community projects ranging from delivering canned goods to helping build playgrounds at special needs schools. Helping build the playgrounds gave him a sense of gratification knowing that the children would now be provided an opportunity to play on equipment that every other school has. Currently, Robbie holds a 3.0 GPA. He would like to study either history or physical therapy in school. He loves watching Mysteries at the Museum and also is a passionate Star Wars fan. He is a part of the FCA at his school and also enjoys reading books.

With another year of eligibility left, Robbie will start to see the offers pour in. He comes from a strong family and a supportive coaching staff. He will attempt raise another Region Championship trophy next year, with sights set on the State Title next January.
