Player Bio

Lee County’s Ronald Wilson has been a versatile and key ingredient to the Trojans’ success defensively this year going 7-2 in the regular season. Coach Dean Fabrizio has moved Wilson around from defensive end to outside linebacker and has managed to keep offenses off-balance. The 6-foot-1 210 pound Wilson is very knowledgeable on the field and is always in the right place to make a play. He has a high motor, which helps him go hard on every play. His 4.72 forty-time allows him to get off blocks and get into the backfield. He also benches 285 and squats 450 pounds.

Wake Forest has shown interest in him but is yet to offer. Ronald has been a Clemson fan growing up and said that at whichever school he attends, he would like to study marketing and business management. He is doing well in the classroom and currently holds a 3.0 GPA. Over the summer, Ronald attended numerous camps including the MVP Camp, NUC Camp and the Nike Sparq Combine. Each of these camps allowed him to test his skills amongst the best around and have helped him gain exposure and invaluable experience.

Ronald also is the starting forward for the Lee County basketball team. When he is away from the gridiron and the hardwood, he enjoys spending time at his church. Ronald’s dad is a preacher and has helped guide him along the way into growing up to be a respectable young adult. Ronald said he would like to thank his dad and brother for helping him get to where he is today.

When asked about his favorite football memory, Ronald mentioned winning the region last year. He should have many more memories on the horizon as his recruitment heats up. He will most likely be an outside linebacker in college and will be a welcomed addition to whichever school he chooses.
