Player Bio

Do you remember your first varsity start and how was it?
“My first high school start was in 9th grade against Bacon County.”

Have you played OL your entire life and what made you want to play OL?
“Yes I’ve played offensive line my whole life because I’ve always been a big kid.”

What is your best asset as an OL? Is technique or strength more important in your opinion? What is your primary OL position and how comfortable are you with other positions? What do you want to play in college?
“I think my technique is my best aspect. But my strength helps a lot. My primary position is tackle on offense. But I love to play nose guard. I feel comfortable playing any position. I would like to play nose guard in college.”

Who is the most influential person in your life?
“The most influential person is my father. He helps me make the right decision in life.”

How many brothers and sisters, what ages and do they play sports?
“I have one brother that plays football and basketball. He is 16”.

Parents name and did they play sports in college?
“Kevin and Salina Collins; they didn’t play and sports in college.”

What colleges have shown interest in you/offered you?
I haven’t been offered yet. But I have had lots of interest for college. Georgia Tech, Georgia, Alabama, Duke, Purdue, South Alabama, South Carolina and some other colleges.”

What do you want to study in school?
“I’m not sure yet what I want to study but I enjoy science and I’m pretty good at math.”

What has been your best football memory?
“My best memory is starting my freshman year.”

Gain any accolades? (All-Region, State, etc.) Did you attend any camps this offseason? Know any of your stats/blocking grades?
“I received 1st team all-region this year. I went to a camp in Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia. This year I have 23 roaches so far (which is when you run someone over) I always make 90s or above on my grades.”

Play any sports besides football?
“I’ve wrestled for three years.”
