Player Bio

Tomon Fox of Collins Hill has been quite busy in 2014. The speed rushing defensive end has burst onto the scene and has earned plenty of offers after being named the NUC Five-Star South Showcase Defensive End MVP. At 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, Fox is an athletic pass rusher who uses choppy steps and strong hands to get to the quarterback. Head Coach Kevin Reach says that Tomon is smart and has great technique and quick feet while playing defensive end. He was named team captain this year as a junior, which isn’t always common. He has received offers from the likes of Georgia Tech, Miami, Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee among others.

Not only a standout on the field, Fox is also strong in the classroom maintaining a 3.0 GPA. He loves giving back to the community and is active in working with the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Coach Reach has said that Tomon is very coachable and leads by example. Fox understands that he must add some more weight to his frame to succeed in college and is always is the weight room. Tomon runs a 4.71 forty, which helped him lead the county in sacks last season with 13. He also participates in track and field. Fox has ran the 100 and 200 meter, the high jump, and thrown both discus and shot put.

Collins Hill played Fox all over the field as a sophomore, which helped him improve his tackling skills in space. Fox has been skyrocketing up recruiting boards and with one full season remaining, he will continue to be one of the hottest prospects in the state of Georgia. A good person on and off the field, the sky is the limit for Tomon Fox.
